By pulsing the media facade of the Ars Electronica Center, the museum has been transformed into a sculpture that mimics a breathing creature. The visualization is meant to counterbalance other works, often using dramatic effects, and therefore focuses on a recurring, monochrome pattern that brings the Ars Electronica Center to nocturnal rest.
The data used for the visualization was stored and reproduced by a dormant person via a DIY device (pressure sensors + arduino) to ensure a natural and organic pulsation.
